Using Groundie

You may use this app to run your business. You are responsible for what you put into it, for who you give access to, and for keeping your own copies of your records.

Who owns what

Your records are yours. Your clients, quotes, invoices, job sheets and photos belong to your business. Using the app gives us no claim over any of them.

The app itself is ours. Copyright in the software, its design and its wording belongs to Groundie Ltd. You are licensed to use it; you are not permitted to copy it, publish it, sell it, or produce your own version from it.

The app has to be delivered to your device in order to run, which means the way it is written can be read. Reading it is permitted. Copying it is not.

What we do not promise

The app is still being built and is provided as it is, without warranty. It is not accounting or legal advice, and the safety paperwork it produces does not by itself make any work site safe; that responsibility remains with your business.

Please check your own tax figures before filing anything based on them.

Stopping

You may stop using Groundie at any time. Please export your records first — they are yours, and Settings will produce the file.

We may withdraw access where the app is being misused. Unless the misuse is serious enough that we have to act immediately, we will write to you first and give you the opportunity to put it right.

What happens to your records after you stop is set out in the privacy policy.
